In Denmark more than 1 million lives with chronic pain in muscles and joints, and it is estimated that up to 40% of the global population will develop chronic pain during their lifetime. In 2019, chronic pain was recognized as a disease, and therefore needs to be treated as a one; but how can we treat chronic pain? In this series of webinars, experts within this field, discuss the present and the future of treating chronic pain.



Webinar 1: Chronic pain – Why is it a problem?

Chronic pain is a growing problem, and affects many people in their daily lives. In this first episode, experts specify what exactly is pain. Why is pain such a big problem, and why is chronic pain special and so difficult to treat?
